Born and raised in Jesup, Georgia, Tracy is a 1985 “Yellow Jacket” graduate of Wayne County High School. Upon graduating from Wayne County High School, Tracy attended Georgia Southwestern University and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While at Georgia Southwestern, he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and played for the Southwestern Hurricane football team from 1985-1986. After a back injury ended his football career, an orthopedic doctor told him he would never play football or lift weights again, so Tracy went on to win 1987 NPC Mr. Teenage Georgia just to prove the doctor wrong.

In 2015, Tracy was voted Wayne County’s Favorite Attorney, and was a nominee in 2020 as well. In April 2021, Tracy was appointed as the Jeff Davis County Solicitor General by Governor Brian Kemp.
He is married to the former Michele O’Quinn. Together they have three children, Dylan (Kadie Brown), Keri (Chandler Dixon) and Kaydin along with three grandchildren: Myla, Charlie Belle & Mason.
